We all hate those pesky blackheads. They are small bumps that appear on your skin due to clogged hair follicles. It is an initial stage of acne formation. They are called blackheads because they make the skin look dark or black. They usually form on the face, but they can also appear on the back, chest, neck, arms, and shoulders.

One blackhead can slow down your overall appearance and it can be very painful and annoying to deal with them. If you are also dealing with frustrating blackheads in any part of your body then try these home remedies listed below and say bye-bye to blackheads forever.

Home remedies for blackheads:

Cinnamon-
Mix one part organic cinnamon with two parts honey to form a paste. Apply a thin layer of paste over the affected area. Leave the paste on for at least 15 minutes. Wash off with your favorite cleanser, and then follow up with a moisturizer. Use this remedy daily for best results.

Green tea-
Mix one teaspoon of green tea leaves with a yogurt to make a paste. Apply the paste over the affected area and gently scrub. Leave it for 10 to 15 minutes. This scrub deep cleans oily skin and helps unclog pores. Rinse it off with lukewarm water.

Turmeric-
Mix some turmeric powder, sandalwood powder, and milk to make a paste. Apply it to the affected areas. Allow it to dry for a few minutes and then wash the area with lukewarm water.

Sugar scrub-
Take 4 tbsp white or brown sugar and 2 tbsp olive oil (or grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil), Mix them together to make a paste. Add essential oil for fragrance if desired. Wet your face and massage paste on your skin using your fingertips, in circular motions. Rinse with cool water and then moisturize.

Aloe vera-
Take a Fresh aloe vera leaf, Extract fresh gel from it and apply this on your face and Leave it on for about 10 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. Do this every day for a clear and glowing skin.

Tomato juice-
Take the tomato and mash it, and apply it over the affected area. Leave it for 20-30 minutes and then wash it with clean water. Dilute the juice with equal parts of water if you have sensitive skin.

Face steaming-
Pour some hot water into a bowl or use a face steamer. Cover your head with the towel. Steam your face for one to two minutes. Follow with a natural exfoliator like brown sugar or sea salt. So that You can easily scrub off the blackheads and whiteheads. Face steaming also removes toxins and improves skin health.
